About our foundation
Who we are
The Azerbaijan Women's Republican Society is a public union based in Baku. We support low-income families, single mothers, elderly women and children. Together with our volunteers and partners we take an individual approach to each family and work to improve their quality of life.
Our mission
To meet the daily needs of women and families, support their long-term development and ensure their equal participation in society. We believe that when you empower a woman, you empower the whole family and community.
Our vision
A society where no woman or child is deprived of basic needs, and everyone has equal access to education, health and a life of dignity.
Our programmes
What we focus on
Healthy food
We deliver regular food aid, hot meals and essential household items to low-income families.
Education
We provide scholarships, textbooks and school supplies for girls and women to continue learning.
Empowerment
We build women's professional skills and support small business and employment opportunities.
Medical aid
We organise primary health check-ups, advice and referral to treatment when needed.
